At Bespoke Glazing Design, we were invited to collaborate with B-VDS on the renovation of a beautiful period home in Hackney. The clients wanted to honour the character of their property while bringing in more natural light and a modern take.

The focal point of the project was a set of slimline W20 steel doors at the rear, finished in a soft, Oyster-White Colour. With their classic steel-framed design and elegant brass hardware, the doors open the home to the garden while maintaining the timeless look of traditional steel glazing. Toughened glass and concealed bolts ensure security and durability without compromising the refined aesthetic.

To complement the doors, we installed a Heritage 47 bi-fold window system. Its slim aluminium profile and double glazing maximise light and efficiency, creating a seamless balance between old and new. Inside, we also supplied a fire-rated glazed W20 door, giving the homeowners peace of mind with 30 minutes of protection while still looking sleek and in keeping with the rest of the scheme.
